Kawaii Kon-2012 Part 2

One of the challenges of shooting pics at a crowded convention like Kawaii Kon is that you don't always get to control your background.  I decided to edit the background so as not to distract from the gorgeous vibrant colors of their cosplay outfits.

Kawaii Kon 2012

Kawaii Kon is a 3 day Anime Convention and Conference dedicated to creating a broader awareness of and appreciation for Japanese animation. Since its first convention in 2005, the event has drawn thousands of fans, artists and guests from around the world.This year's event drew over 6,000 attendees.

Honolulu Festival 2012

The Honolulu Festival is a cultural event, promoting understanding, economic cooperation and ethnic harmony between the people of Hawaii and the Pacific Rim region. Dance performances and traditional art demonstrations are displayed from Japan, Australia, Tahiti, Philippines, Taiwan, Korea, and Hawaii. The event culminates with a parade and fireworks show.
